Belize, May 2003

On our second day, we took a trip inland to visit a Mayan ruin, Lamanai. Our modes of transportation consisted of a power boat from the caye to the mainland, then a bus ride to another small boat up a river. The bus ride was long and very bumpy. The road was only partially paved. The other people in our group were all Americans.
